A Message from Superintendent Crystal Leach

Dear SUHSD Community,

As the year draws to a close and winter break approaches, I want to thank you our parents, employees and community members for supporting our schools,. Whether it is cheering for our sports teams, helping your own student with homework at the kitchen table, tutoring a student through one of our partners, testifying at a board meeting about an issue of importance, or donating money, I appreciate all of it more than you can know.

We have purposely kept this newsletter short, knowing it is a busy time of year when many of us are feeling overloaded with information. However, we do want to provide a few important pieces of information, especially related to support during the holidays.

While this season is joyful for many, it can also be a challenging time for families. Please know that our schools and community partners are here to support you. If your family is experiencing food insecurity or needs extra assistance over the holidays, resources are shared below, and we encourage you to reach out.

On behalf of our entire district, I wish you a restful break and relaxed time with the people who matter most to you.

Wishing you a restful holiday!

Sincerely,

Crystal Leach
Superintendent
